Hello---Roland Bonadurer-
yes we Bonadurers are few here in the United States and my guess is, we are probably related somehow--my great grandfather was Christain Bonadurer who came from Switzerland sometime in the late 19th century. I have the info at home--(I work here at the Minneapolis Planetarium teaching astronomy) somewhere. J think he came from a family of 8--which included 7 boys and one girl. My understanding is that four of the eight emigrated together--don't know exact year. I do know there are a few other Bonadurers in the US but haven't pieced together the whole family history.

Christain settled in LaCrosse,  my hometown, and he had one son (my grandfather William Bonadurer) and three daughters. My grandfather had one son (William Bonadurer Jr.--my dad) and one daughter. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters--making more and more Bonadurers.
